This is my last post in 2011: an other great year has gone, so fast, almost could not keep up.

I had many goals for this year and I am pleased to say that I have accomplished most of them, what is lacking behind is well under way too, so I am feeling confident about what the future holds.

I will be off the radar for a few weeks, try not to use computers, being on the internet in the Holidays. I suggest you do the same, there are so many great things to do, besides wasting your life in front of the computer (or telly) Spend some time with your loved ones instead!

In the mean time, there will be Hobbit trailer in a few days (I have just seen it and it looks awesome!) and there should be Prometheus trailer coming out very soon as well.

Enjoy these folks and see you in the New Year what I have got a “confirmation”, will be our best year ever!
So, Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year To You All!

Adventures of Tintin

Its been rather long time since the last proper update on my site. Since then I had transformed the site to WordPress, someone mentioned that it is the new cool… , The site is pretty much the same as it was before except it is not html any more. Somehow I never have time to put some more effort in and design something better looking. Sorry, but nowadays I try to spend as little of my free time in front of the computer as possible.

Lets see what todays update is about:

I had the wonderful opportunity to work on Steven Spielberg’s Adventures of Tintin:The Secret of the Unicorn movie. It was truly a blast, with some occasional nightmares, but that is part of the job, and the result is mind blowing! Never really liked full cg movies, especially “cute furry animal” kind of movies, but this is something, a lot more, action, adventure, treasure hunt, something I would have loved to be part of if I was a tiny bit younger (about 20 years younger actually)

James Cameron’s Avatar is Done

We are officially done with James Cameron’s Avatar. Such a relief, and what a surprise in the same time. There is now way I could have imagined way back in December 2008 that this movie ever gets done. There are quite a few trailers already out there and I was lucky again that I have a very nice shot of mine published in these trailers what I can share with you here (high res):

Woww, what a crazy year it is so far, certainly the most defining in my life:
I am back to Weta again after a few months break, awesome, as always. Work? on Avatar? Crazy as usual!
Especially since I was leading a sequence with a deadline of only 2 weeks. huh, no sunshine for me for about 4 months, but who cares, there is a history in the making over here.

ah, before I forget, James Cameron just shook my hands a week ago, I am not washing it since.
